Opportunity - 機會 - Jīhuì

A shuriken thrown,
on the darkest night-
Can you dodge it?
Will you even see it?

Merge with Tao, into the shadows,

to move without shadow.

~inspired by Deng Ming-Dao

It has been said before, that oppressive times full of adversity cannot last forever. How can we transition through these times, to create a better tomorrow? In the midst of these great difficulties, we may see tiny opportunities spring to life, as if by chance. You must keep your mind sharp, in order to discern its presence, as well as quick enough to leap into action. So long as you are determined enough, you will achieve gains. If you watch it pass by, you will be consumed by regret.

Merge with Tao, becoming one with its shadow. Wherever it takes you, follow. As soon as it throws adversity your way, allow your reflexes to catch it. Do not try to catch, or you will fail. If you are always with Tao, traveling along a parallel track at the same speed, then you will be in the perfect position to seize initiative.

Act as if you possess no shadow. In your life, this means leaving no messiness behind. You must not be ignorant of consequences left in your wake. Leave nothing to haunt your conscience. By keeping mindful, you will avoid creating needless conflicts. Your every movement becomes invisible, and your path, traceless.
