The wellspring of life
finds a home within-
the core of being.
Tap into the latent energy
and channel it through yourself.
Only then, can you hear its voice.

~inspired by Deng Ming-Dao

The source of all power exists within yourself. Although the external world may inhibit your progress, true movement is generated solely from within yourself. The source is latent, in everyone, but anyone can learn to tap into it. When this occurs, powerful energy surges forth, like a shimmering waterfall cascading off a high cliff.

Physically, this power can sustain and nourishment, but it can do a great many other things as well. It may bestow gifts of knowledge, previously seen as opaque mysteries. It may allow you to enter a state of tranquility, to push away the distractions of the world. It all depends on how the energy is directed.

It cannot be said that enlightenment is achieved solely by the virtue of tapping this source of power. Energy itself is neutral. We provide the alignment. Energy requires experience, wisdom, and education to give it direction. You may find power through meditation, but it is valid for another person to find similarly valid attainment by using the energy in a different way. Each individual will harness this power differently, depending on state of their internal conflict between good and evil.

Thus, finding the source of this spiritual power is quite joyous, but deciding how to direct it is the greatest of responsibilities.
