Delayed Daily Musing - March 12th, 2013 - Meditation - 冥想 - Míngxiǎng

Meditation - 冥想 - Míngxiǎng

Sit still,
disengage.
Let normal activity cease.
Open up,
allow heavenly energy in
to fertilize your soul-
the seed of goodness
must sprout beautiful flowers
to be worn as ornament.
Divine light is the source
when one's mind is empty.
The body is forgotten,
posture maintained
but not the focus of concentration.
An earthly form is not sufficient,
to embrace the flood of brilliance;
skin and bones cannot absorb
energy of such divine magnitude.
The last vestiges of humanity burn away,
become absorbed in an infinite torrent.

Only after,
does one return to the world.
Once more, blood and breathe return.
Were you gone?
Did you ever leave?

Were you ever here to begin with?
It is not gone,
unless it is forgotten;
the door remains,
but it has closed
for now.
