Where is Tao?
It is said that it is all around,
but I can only feel my heartbeat
and the cold wind.
Can you show Tao without using reason?
Can you help me see what is there?
You argue that Tao is beyond sensation
and yet, how do I know it exists?
You say that Tao is beyond definition,
so how will I understand?
This world is difficult enough to bear,
with the bewildering conflicts of nation-states,
and the common, almost casual, brutality of man.
Should I give in as well?
Self-destruction is enticing to a disturbed mind.
How do I retain strength in the face of such doubt
by relying on the colorless, nameless, intangible, silent
Tao?
Show me why,
show me how,
show me Tao.

You must go beyond the physical in order to encounter Tao. The best news is that the majority of humanity possesses the faculties to do so. By focusing your mind away from sensory input, it is possible to discover a new method of perception. Use this new set of eyes to turn to Tao. Only by searching in this way will you find answers and not doubt their veracity.
